1. Introduction

By using the Russell & Co website and engaging our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all projects undertaken by Russell & Co for home improvements including kitchen renovations, bathroom renovations, flooring, electrical work, roofing, and decking.

2. Services

Russell & Co provides home improvement and renovation services in London and the surrounding areas. We offer free initial consultations and quotations. All work is carried out by skilled tradespeople employed or subcontracted by Russell & Co.

3. Quotes and Pricing

Quotations provided by Russell & Co are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. All prices are inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. Final pricing may vary if the scope of work changes after work has commenced.

4. Project Timeline

Agreed project timelines are estimates based on the scope of work agreed at the start of the project. Russell & Co will make reasonable efforts to complete work within the agreed timeline. Delays caused by circumstances outside our control (such as material supply issues or third-party delays) will be communicated promptly.

5. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be confirmed in writing before work commences. A deposit may be required for larger projects. Final payment is due upon completion and satisfactory handover of the work.

6. Warranties

Russell & Co warrants all completed work for a period of 12 months from the date of handover. Warranties cover defects in workmanship but do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or normal wear and tear. Manufacturer warranties apply to materials and products where applicable.

7. Access and Preparation

The client is responsible for ensuring our team has clear access to the property on agreed working days. Properties should be reasonably prepared for works to commence. Additional costs may apply if access is delayed or the site requires additional preparation.

8. Cancellations

If you need to cancel or postpone a project, please notify us as soon as possible. Deposits paid may be non-refundable depending on the stage at which cancellation occurs and the costs already incurred.

9. Limitation of Liability

Russell & Co's liability is limited to the value of the contract for works. We are not liable for indirect losses, loss of earnings, or consequential damages arising from our work.
